Temple’s Crusade is a coming of age story of a young man who escapes the long arm of the law and reinvents himself. Temple’s life goal is to avoid accountability by living a righteous life on his own terms, but through a lifetime of struggles against his inner weaknesses, gains and losses and life changing events he never really mans up. He enters the world of religion, but discovers that salvation is not possible if the religious systems themselves are corrupt. In fact, he himself becomes a corrupting influence. He finally takes his stand on a moral issue pitting himself against his Catholic Bishop brother and finds personal redemption in a place which was always there and at a cost which he was finally willing to pay.
